Route Menu

Trace Better than a curvometer

This mode is active on detailed views (and soon on views 'Big Sectors', at 1/3 of detailed images, because they represent the surrounding areas of an image). It is inactive on global views and vectorial pictures.
It's better to operate in zoom 100 %.

The Drawing of routes is made by adding segments between successive points (bird's-eye view) with estimate of the real distance. Simulation of route. The user has to move away from the straight line if he meets a one-way street or if he thinks he will spare time by taking the closest main roads (boulevards for example) to the direct route.
The layut is already active on the base map ('Detailed' pictures). It will be soon implemented for the 'Sectors' views, intermediate between global and detailed views. It is planned to save - and so to be able to redo - these routes.

End of Trace

To finish the current itinerary, just call again the Route Menu , sub-menu 'Trace'. The length of the current segment and the total distance are displayed.

The tours of the Boulevards and of the Ring Road are already supplied.

Ring Road

Allows to display successively the various motorway links of the Ring Road. The default entrance is number 1.
Next / previous access is available by the Magical Mystery Tour icon. You can remove it by a right click.

Boulevards

Same procedure, and in that case, with the flashing line for the segments and their length displayed in the title bar.

Bus Map New !

The two maps correspond to day and night lines. This last one is displayed in Windows Explorer. It is in 'PDF' format , i.e. it requires to have "Acrobat Reader" installed. So, you can easily compare the day map displayed in the sub-menu "Day map" with the night one displayed in Windows Explorer or in the reader of Acrobat. You can download them in the page "Free Demo".
