"An injustice made to one is a threat made to all" (Montesquieu) |
The violences carried on during years on your domain
must be acknowledged and apologies must be made not only
by those who committed them but by those who tolerated them..
The Director, Mr. DELMAS, although he cannot ignore any more the violence which
continued under his authority, still did not show any sign of compassion towards
the victims, furthermore he did not really try to obtain their detailed testimonies,
failed in keeping his word to inform the 1-st declared victim, treats him as
an unwelcome visitor, and covers the Vineyard Manager (who takes advantage of
it and tries to evade explanations owed on his responsibility in the non-denunciation
of the observed violence)...
Coming from the Director of a 1st "Grand crû Classé", this behaviour is despicable.
For her part, the CEO of the DILLON Co, Mrs Joan Dillon, Duchess de Mouchy, waited
more than 6 months to answer, just to confirm the Manager's stand, still without
any apology, but above that, she accused me of "threats", "insinuations"
and "defamations"! Apparently violence stopped, but excuses are lacking
and the lack of respect, not to say contempt, persists. It is indecent to mistreat
the weakest or to disdain them. The seasonal employees have also the right to
some respect.
The associations defending the Unemployed & the precarious workers, and myself
as citizen, firmly denounce such behavior and demand
apologies, not only because it is about infringements
on the dignity, but also because it may be pre-judicial to the rest of the staff,
and beyond, to the prestige of the region.
If a change did not intervene quickly, I consider it my duty to notify who
it may concern and to show solidarity with the victims until Justice
has been done.
