Dear Sir

  I thank you for having taken steps so that the denounced facts do not happen again this year. I regret however that you did not let me know about the results of your "inquiry", because I had to wait to contact the grapeharvesters in order to learn that these harvests took place without violence.
Now that no one will be able any more to blame me, should the occasion arise , for having sought after a personal goal, I can tackle the aspect of the personal financial compensation for the prejudices suffered :

1. Harassment, infringements on the dignity and humiliations: threats to be publicly undressed and beginning of execution (boots removed and sent into the vineyards), …

2. Assaults with premeditation, collusion, and repetition : overbalancing in a truck

3. Depredations of properties : the steering of my scooter was bended (estimate enclosed). I shall remit you the cleaning of working clothes after stays in vat.

4. Embarrassment at work : I have no taste for picking with soaked feet and with sticky clothes, and this is not any more in accordance with my age.

5. Removal of the work place : I had to find another Château more than 15 miles away, and every day I had a 3 hours travel instead of 30 mn. I'm over 50, and this puts an additional strain which has a good chance to be renewed next years.

6. You have broken your word "to let me know" : no formal recognition of the reality of the violences, and lack of apology to the victims.

As I see it, a fixed compensation of 10 000FF (1500 €) would spare a lawsuit which would risk to ternish the reputation of the Château and would implicate you, especially in relation to the DILLON Co.

Because you think that it is not untrue to say "we are gathering gold" in the estate, you will understand that there can be no question of bargaining and that this proposal of amicable settlement is not negotiable.

I kindly request you to let me know your answer within the end of the month, hoping that the willingness to settle it amicably will prevail.
