My comments to the lawyer's letter

I don't intend to answer to the letter of this lawyer which I consider to be offensive, because even after the inquiry, damages are still not considered as a fact but as "alleged". I would like to make the following remarks:

1) The fact that Mr J.B. DELMAS prefers to give money to a lawyer rather than to the victims - seasonal workers with limited resources - aggravates his case.

2) Because Mr DELMAS still did not acknowledge that the Vineyard Manager was wrong to tolerate this violence, and even seeems to support him since he blames me for disturbing his staff, I consider that he refuses the amicable arrangement I proposed. So I withdraw my claim for damages as long as personal excuses are not presented to the victims, as well on behalf of the authors of violence, than of the Vineyard Manager who tolerated them, and of the Director who protects him and so becomes party of it.

3) Possibly M ° LINDNER needs to be gagged and thrown in a truck to understand that violence and humiliations, as well as tolerance of such acts, are the heart of the matter, the "inconveniences" being only subsidiary matters.

4) M ° LINDNER should study the case he is supposed to to defend : he seems to ignore that, I wrote in my last letter - of the 9-11-2000 - that I'll spare him the cleaning. Would it be that Mr . DELMAS omitted to inform him? As for the lessons on causality, the only thing which is "obvious" is that a love rule involves the recognition of the responsibility of those who let violence go on year after year.

5) About documentary evidences, I think that the responsibles for violence have to make their apologies in the first place.

6) It will be up to the Justice to judge causal relationship between offences and punishments on : assaults with premeditation and relapse (until 7 years of detention), complicity, harassment, humiliations, obstruction to work, depredations of properties, finally remoteness of the work place.

7) Mr . DELMAS cannot ignore any more the violence which occurred during years under his authority, nevertheless he still did not show any sign of compassion to the victims , furthermore he treats me as an unwelcome visitor and tried (in vain) to block my e-mails (info@haut-brion.com et ckuhn@haut-brion.com). Consequently I ask anyone to let him know by this way ( even if it entails taking a pseudo so that the mail reaches him) that such behavior lacks nobleness, that "science without consciousness...", that he would do well to care less for things and more for people, etc....

8) I urge those who know the personalities (Alain ROUSSET, etc.) referenced on his site to warn them not to compromise any more with this individual. The Prefect of the Gironde being quoted there (www.haut-brion.com/forum/news), it would be interesting to know his opinion about the powerful involved in violence who never show any sign of compassion to the victims. Equally, I'll be curious to lean about the position of Mrs. Nicole Pery, State Secretary to the Rights of Women.
